The Richmond Group Announces New Bioenergy Division
Names New Division President and Launches Bioenergy Website

RICHMOND, VA
– Intensifying concern over environmental issues such as global warming and the development of renewable energy sources has created great demand for talent to serve the bioenergy industry in both public and private sectors. In response, The Richmond Group, a recognized leader in the recruitment industry for more than 40 years and a member office of MRINetwork™, announced today the formation of the BioEnergyTalent Acquisition and Recruitment Division (www.trgbioenergy.com) to assist in solving the nation’s energy problems.

"We first recognized the importance of this vital industry several years ago," said Jay Schwartz, President of The Richmond Group. “Now we are taking our efforts a giant step forward by making a concerted effort to find the best talent available and bring it to this industry."

Michael Jones, former senior account executive of the Grain and Oilseed Practice, has been named BioEnergy Division President.

"Michael is a highly qualified leader for our new division. He has been spearheading the recruitment of bioenergy talent for the past few years within our Grain and Oilseed operations,” said Schwartz. “Fortunately for our clients and candidates, Michael and his team are already well recognized within the industry as key talent scouts. The talented professionals that they are able to recruit have an immediate impact on our client companies.”

According to Jones, 40 percent of the best talent never knows about an available employment opportunity. "Our challenge as recruiters is to identify great candidates wherever they may be and make then aware of the incredible opportunities that are available to them,” he said. “We are committed to finding engineers, scientists, plant managers and business leaders and introducing them to forward-thinking companies so they can work together to address the global issues this fast-growing industry faces.”

The Richmond Group's ability to leverage their 40 years of recruitment experience, combined with their knowledge and connections within the bioenergy field, provides them with the unique ability to power the growth of any company or individual's career. "It is this 'human fuel' called talent that will ultimately be the deciding factor in who wins and loses in the bioenergy marketplace," said Jones.
