With nearly 30 years of experience in staffing & recruiting and executive search, Nancy joined the organization as VP, Learning & Talent Development in 2008 to drive the organizational training strategy including the design, development, and delivery of all sales, recruiting, technology training tools and management programs. Her role expanded to VP of global operations and franchise recruitment in 2013 which she held through 2016. Nancy was asked to serve as the VP, Franchise Engagement & Culture in late 2016, as a commitment to the franchise community of our focus on culture and retention of our most important assets, our franchisees. This role focuses on meetings, events, awards, recognition and franchise relations & owner engagement programs. She continues to serve a critical role in franchise recruitment, and is currently serving as the interim VP in her previous role until a replacement is identified. Prior to joining MRINetwork, Nancy spent more than 19 years in a variety of roles for Spherion Corporation (now Randstad, NA), in recruitment, sales and management roles with her last role as Vice President of Strategic Accounts managing sales and service delivery for a $77M nationwide portfolio of seven of the company’s top clients. Prior to that, Nancy held the role of Vice President of Talent Management at Spherion where she was responsible for training, business meeting services, organizational effectiveness, and internal recruiting. Nancy holds a B.S. in Interdisciplinary Studies from Michigan State University.
Ann Santomas has served as Vice President and Senior Counsel of MRINetwork since December 2006. In her current role she provides legal counsel to the management team, and oversees the franchise administration functions for the Network. Ann has held several positions at MRINetwork prior to her current role including Associate General Counsel and Vice President. Before joining the Network, she served as Corporate Counsel and Director of Franchise Administration and Compliance for Jackson Hewitt Inc. More recently, she was President and Director of Browns Canyon.
As Vice President of Learning and Talent Development, Sherry is responsible for setting the strategic direction of learning by partnering with franchise owners to establish learning solutions that help them achieve their business goals and objectives. Sherry is a metrics-driven business professional with over 20 years’ experience tying learning strategy to human performance. Her unique background in learning and finance help to ensure a results focus for all learning initiatives. Sherry has extensive experience in leading learning initiatives using adult learning theory including learning solutions that leverage innovative technologies such as micro learning, social learning, gamification, and mobile learning. Sherry has served in strategic learning leadership roles for Santander Bank and Penn Medicine where she’s transformed the learning experiences at both organizations. She is a published author and has spoken at national conference on topics related to measurement of learning and innovative learning solutions. Sherry holds an undergraduate degree in Finance, with a Masters in Instructional Technology.
Marquis Parker serves as Vice President of Strategy for MRINetwork, where he is charged with driving a range of enterprise-wide initiatives that promote revenue and margin growth, optimize operational activities, and help the company to achieve its long-term performance goals. Before joining MRINetwork, Marquis spent six and a half years with Aon plc, a $12B provider of risk management, reinsurance, and human capital advisory services, in a number of strategy and business operations leadership roles, most recently serving as Senior Vice President of Strategy and Corporate Development for a division with the Aon Risk Solutions business. Prior to Aon, Marquis worked for McKinsey & Company, the global management consultancy, where he advised both private and public sector clients in several industries, including financial services, public infrastructure, and education. His client engagements covered a range of topics, including post-merger management, organization design, performance transformation, and growth strategy. Marquis holds an A.B. in Computer Science from Princeton University, M.B.A. from the Stanford Graduate School of Business, M.A. in Education from the Stanford University School of Education, and M.S. in Management of Information Technology from the University of Virginia.
