Bert Miller

President & CEO

Bert Miller joined MRINetwork® in 1995 as co-founder of search and recruitment office, Protis Global. Eventually based in Miami, Protis Global consistently ranked as one of the Network’s largest and most honored offices and earned numerous national and international awards. The office, led by a tenured management team, continues to provide retained executive search and advisory services to clients in the food and beverage, consumer package goods, cannabis and hospitality industries.

In 2019, through MRINetwork Holdings LLC, Bert acquired Management Recruiters International, Inc. from CDI Corporation and became the organization’s President and CEO.

With an intimate understanding of the staffing and recruitment space and of challenges faced by independent firms in the rapidly changing industry Bert is leveraging MRI’s unique Network-centric service model to support the growth of the Network’s existing members while expanding its membership ranks.

Bert is an active speaker globally on key issues facing the development and recruitment of talent such as diversity and inclusion, advisement, leadership and culture. Prior to joining the Network, Bert graduated from Ball State University and joined the E&J Gallo development program in 1985. He then moved on to Revlon N.A. in 1989 and held various leadership roles prior to starting Protis Global along with Laura A. Gonzalez in 1995.

 

Todd Simpson

Chief Financial Officer

Joining MRINetwork in 2019, Todd brings a unique combination of financial, staffing and MRI-specific knowledge to his role as Chief Financial Officer. He previously served as Vice President and CFO of CDI Corporation’s Talent & Technology Solutions division, which provided clients with staffing-related and technology outsourcing services. His 15-year career at CDI progressed from his initial role of Senior Financial Analyst through CFO, providing Todd with a deep understanding of the financial management of the contract staffing and direct hire business.

As CFO, Todd is responsible for maintaining a first-class finance and accounting organization to support all MRINetwork’s businesses. He is charged with implementing and sustaining a metrics-based approach to real-time business monitoring, assessment, forecasting and strategy planning as MRI rapidly expands its membership-based operating model.

Todd is a graduate of Texas A&M University and earned a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt issued by Purdue University.

 

Nancy Halverson

SVP, Global Operations

With over 30 years of experience in staffing & recruiting and executive search, Nancy joined the organization in 2008 as VP, Learning & Talent Development to drive organizational training strategy, including the design, development and delivery all training tools and management programs. Her role expanded to VP of global operations and franchise recruitment in 2013 with a strong focus on franchise relations and owner engagement programs to enhance and energize the company’s culture. Her commitment to the franchise community and her success in delivering service excellence led to her appointment as general manager of the company in 2017. She continues to direct her efforts to providing enlightened leadership in today’s challenging environment and to developing programs for tenured franchisees. Prior to joining MRINetwork, Nancy honed her skills over 19 years with Spherion Corporation (now Randstad, NA), where she progressed rapidly from running a search practice and strategic sales to the ranks of upper management as VP of Strategic Accounts. Nancy holds a B.S. in Interdisciplinary Studies from Michigan State University.

 

Sherry Muczyk

Vice President, Learning & Talent Development

As Vice President of Learning and Talent Development, Sherry is responsible for setting the strategic direction of learning by partnering with franchise owners to establish learning solutions that help them achieve their business goals and objectives. Sherry is a metrics-driven business professional with over 20 years’ experience tying learning strategy to human performance. Her unique background in learning and finance help to ensure a results focus for all learning initiatives. Sherry has extensive experience in leading learning initiatives using adult learning theory including learning solutions that leverage innovative technologies such as micro learning, social learning, gamification, and mobile learning. Sherry has served in strategic learning leadership roles for Santander Bank and Penn Medicine where she’s transformed the learning experiences at both organizations. She is a published author and has spoken at national conference on topics related to measurement of learning and innovative learning solutions. Sherry holds an undergraduate degree in Finance, with a Masters in Instructional Technology.

 

Vince Webb

Vice President, Marketing

Vince joined MRINetwork in 1994, in a newly created role for the organization, Vice President, Marketing. During his almost 10-year tenure in that role, he worked with the management team and the MRINetwork franchise community as the organization grew to span four continents, from its roots as a contingent recruiter of sales and management talent. Vince moved to parent company, CDI Corp., in 2003 directing the firm’s marketing, communications and investor relations functions. Recently Vince rejoined MRINetwork as Interim Vice President, Marketing.

Prior to joining MRINetwork and CDI, Vince spent most of his career in national marketing positions within Marriott.

 

Colin Dittus

Sr. Director, Contract Staffing, Ops & Development

With nearly 20 years of experience in recruiting and contract staffing, Colin leads operations and development for MRI Contract Staffing. Colin first joined MRINetwork in 2004 as a business consultant for the organization’s franchise operations, advising owners and training desk-level producers. He was then hired by a leading pharmaceutical/biotechnology recruiting firm to establish and grow their contract staffing division, which he grew to a $9M+ business in high-margin annual revenue during his 11 years with the firm. He was responsible for business development, market assessment, client identification, sales, delivery and account management, always focused on growing market share. Now back at MRINetwork, Colin is dedicated to helping both small and large offices succeed in growing their contract staffing business.

He holds a BA in Psychology from Millersville University.

 

Reagan Johnson

Sr. Director, Technology Operations

Reagan has been a part of MRINetwork since June 1998, when he started with the Miller Resource Group franchise office as an Internet Researcher. There Reagan grew his skills rapidly, became the IT Manager responsible for the network and software infrastructure and support, and developed skills and software that attracted the notice of the corporate office. In January 2007, Reagan made the transition to the corporate office as Manager of Application Development where he was responsible for the design and development of the many applications MRINetwork provides its offices. Soon after, he made the jumps to Manager and then Director of Technology Operations to take on a larger strategic responsibility of the holistic technology approach for MRINetwork Offices. Today, as Director of Technology Operations, Reagan serves as the lead for all technology initiatives offered by Corporate to the MRINetwork offices globally. This includes designing, developing, and supporting the applications MRINetwork offices use to perform their recruiting efforts more efficiently, as well as designing and managing network and PC infrastructure services for the franchise offices. Ultimately Reagan acts as subject matter expert on staffing technology and their best practices for applicant tracking software, learning management systems, video interviewing, network infrastructure, voice communications, and more.

 

Alex Reiff

Sr. Director, Sales and Business Services

As senior director of sales and business services, Alex is responsible for directing membership expansion of MRINetwork, committed to bolstering market share lead and growing the Network. An energetic and talented sales executive, he is also leading the sales efforts of MRIThrive, which capitalizes on the Network’s pioneering position in the search and recruitment industry by making its experience, training and operational expertise available to independent recruiting firms through offerings of ancillary services and consulting. Prior to joining MRINetwork, Alex served as director of community partnerships and mobile healthcare for Boling Vision Center, where he was directly involved in the development, implementation and tracking of the strategic internal and external business development plans. He leads a team of experienced recruitment industry professionals who understand the needs of individual businesses and how to help them succeed by providing an unparalleled level of resources and support. Alex holds a degree in Business Administration and Management from the University of Indianapolis.

 

Suzanne Rice

Sr. Director, Business Services

With over 30 years of results-oriented sales and management experience, Suzanne serves as MRINetwork’s senior director of business services. She is responsible for the global franchise development team, high-impact programs for emerging growth offices and a talent attraction program designed to bring top performers into the organization. Serving both the contract staffing and the permanent placement sectors, Suzanne is recognized for her grasp of sales performance, net profit, new account development and staff retention.

Suzanne’s record of accomplishments in business growth and profits spans both the product and service industries, domestic and foreign, in start-up and established organizations. Her career in the recruitment industry has also given her an exceptional understanding of how to build and run a business and the ability to communicate these skills to others. Throughout her career, her rapid success led to progressive responsibility and key leadership roles. Prior to joining MRINetwork, she worked with leading recruitment firms including Spherion, supporting national account implementation and providing end-user training for Spherion clients. Previously Suzanne was with QWIZ, a world-leader in PC-based skills testing and training software products for the recruitment industry, where her ability to identify high achievers, organize effective work teams and implement new methods of selling resulted in 30 percent compounded growth during her tenure and her appointment to COO. Suzanne holds a degree from Auburn University.

 

Tim Ozier

Sr. Director, Contract Staffing Sales

Tim joined MRINetwork in 2007 where he held several positions, leading to his role as Senior Director of Contract Staffing. After a four-year hiatus during which he gained further experience working for Adecco, he returned to MRINetwork to expand the contract staffing business offering. He is a Certified Personnel Consultant and Certified Temporary Specialist.

A 25-year veteran of the staffing industry, Tim has a proven track record of success in a wide range of roles. He started his career with Placers and was instrumental in growing annual sales by landing major accounts such as JPMorgan, First USA, Astra Zeneca and Chase Bank. From there he moved to Spherion, where he worked for the franchise division as a regional director for seven years.

Tim holds a B.S. degree from Georgetown University, and proudly served in the Unites States Marine Corps.
