The United Arab Emirates' aerospace industry has recently been experiencing rapid growth. The Telegraph noted that the Middle Eastern nation has been making great strides in this sector over the past few years, especially as it's become more involved in the manufacturing and servicing sides of the trade.
Currently, the Mubadala Development Company - the UAE's leading aerospace investor - owns and operates an aerospace and technology park, a large section of which is exclusively for aerospace development. Dubbed the Nibras Al Ain Aerospace Park, the facility has become a crucial component of the UAE's aerospace advancement.
"[Nibras] allows us to focus investment and effort in one geographical location in order to maximise the synergies across the aerospace value chain. The development of a hub for Abu Dhabi supports other local business and delivers on the regional requirements of our global partners," Homaid Al Shemmari, CEO of Aerospace & Engineering Services at Mubadala, told the news source.
In addition to homegrown aerospace initiatives, the UAE has also forged strong relationships with industry leaders all over the world. Established brands like Boeing are excited by the nation's cutting-edge vision and aerospace technology, and are eager to grow their Middle Eastern operations by working closely with Mubadala, explained Arabian Aerospace.
