Philadelphia is one of the top cities in the country for healthcare jobs, according to a recent survey.

The survey, conducted by Abodo, an apartment search engine, found that Philadelphia has the highest percentage of healthcare jobs in the country compared to the overall number of jobs available, Forbes reported. For every 1,000 jobs in the city, there were 78.1 positions in the healthcare practitioner and technician category.

Second on the Abodo list was Detroit, which had 69.7 healthcare jobs for every 1,000 positions, followed by Boston, Indianapolis and Jacksonville, Florida.

The survey noted that healthcare practitioner and technician jobs have grown by nearly 10 percent between 2012 and 2015.

Community and social services is another sector in which Philadelphia has seen strong job growth, Philadelphia magazine reported, with the survey finding that the field had the second-highest job density after healthcare. There were 28.5 community and social services jobs in the city for every 1,000 positions.
