MRINetwork Appoints New President

Jill AlbrinckMRINetwork, one of the largest executive search and recruitment organizations in the world, announces the appointment of Jill Albrinck as its new President, effective immediately. With approximately 600 offices in nearly 40 countries, MRINetwork is a subsidiary of CDI Corp. (NYSE: CDI), a leader in engineering, information technology and staffing solutions.

“Jill will drive a new phase of strategic growth for MRINetwork,” says Scott J. Freidheim, CEO and President of CDI Corp. “Jill’s leadership experience and track record of successfully growing businesses makes her the right person to leverage MRINetwork’s 50 years of innovation in talent solutions.”

Prior to MRINetwork, Albrinck served in a number of senior leadership roles. Jill leveraged her multi-site management experience as COO of DeVry University, a private higher education provider with 90 campuses across the U.S. and Canada. She previously led strategy and business development for Luxottica Group’s $3.5B North American retail division comprised of more than 3,500 company-owned, franchised, and licensed stores, and restored growth to LensCrafters, the company’s flagship optical retailer, as its COO. Prior to these roles, she served as SVP and General Manager of Chiquita Brands International, where she helped lead a successful turnaround of the business. Albrinck was also a partner with Booz Allen Hamilton, a global management consulting firm (now a division of PwC), where she worked with Fortune 500 companies to develop and implement growth strategies. She also spent a number of years with GE in their aircraft engines division.

Albrinck holds an undergraduate degree in physics from University of Dayton and an MBA from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management.

Albrinck is taking over at a time when competition for highly qualified candidates, particularly among the executive, technical and professional ranks, is accelerating. Growth in new hires, coupled with rising retirements, is creating increased demand for search and recruitment services. “I am thrilled to be coming on board at this important moment in MRINetwork’s history,” says Albrinck. “Our broad network of offices and over 2,500 talented recruiters touching virtually every business sector provides an unsurpassed infrastructure to create a powerful force in the industry.”
